“Last preparation Mr. Ubiquitous was constantly pulling up sore after his races, but no matter what we did with him we couldn’t find what the problem was ” explained Waller “ We even went to the step of having an exam done on the horse which is effectively a nuclear test that tries to find hot spots, but again nothing could be found,”
Waller said he was set to “throw my hands in” with Mr. Ubiquitous and he resigned to the former NZ trained galloper having a limited and painful future racing career.
“But then we came across the Corbro Flooring,” he said “We put him on Corbro in his box and since then he hasn’t had a day’s soreness and his racing has been rejuvenated,”
In five out of his last six starts Mr. Ubiquitous picked up $110,000 from successive Saturday wins at Randwick and Rosehill, two seconds including one in the Winter Stakes and a fourth in the Winter Challenge Final. “No doubt the consistency Mr. Ubiquitous has displayed over the last couple of months can be put down to Corbro” said Waller “It is like he is sleeping on a mattress and he can walk in his box on a soft floor.”
